The corruption had been spreading even further lately, worrying most who called the Sky Isles home. The gryphons had never experienced anything like this before; some blamed the new draconic visitors for bringing it, but others seemed to understand that the two happenings were pure, unlucky chance. Dragons had been helping to keep the corruption at bay in many cases, having previous experience with the aether. Coconut and Bucket considered themselves to be such dragons. They walked, accompanied by a large vayron called Ayluin, searching for two gryphons who’d gone missing from their flock.
